One-Day Advanced Bench Practice & Evaluation
Course Description
The One-Day Advanced Bench Practice & Evaluation session is an intensive hands-on experience intended for previous IDEAL Dental Institute course participants who want additional practice, individualized evaluation, and targeted preparation for an upcoming bench examination or dental program interview.
Unlike the standard two-day Bench Test Preparation Course, this session assumes that participants already understand the fundamental preparation principles and evaluation criteria taught during the original course.
The emphasis is therefore on execution, evaluation, correction, repetition, and confidence.
Course Objectives
By the end of the session, participants should be better able to:
Identify recurring technical deficiencies in their own preparations.
Evaluate preparations using objective bench examination criteria.
Improve reduction, taper, margin design, draw, contacts, and preparation dimensions.
Recognize and correct common errors before final evaluation.
Improve consistency under time constraints.
Develop a more efficient sequence for completing bench examination procedures.
Apply preparation principles to program-specific assignments.
Approach an upcoming examination or interview with greater confidence and a more focused preparation strategy.
